Patient on backboard comes out.
Patient is assessed, treated as necessary and readied for transport.
This exercise is just one of the many training events scheduled throughout the year to keep East Side Fire volunteers ready and able to serve our Fire District.

Vehicle Extrication Equipment Truck

Loaded with equipment for:

     Vehicle stabilization - jacks, struts, blocking.
     Hydraulic cutters, spreaders, etc.
     Electric generators
     Electric power tools and lighting.
     Equipment patient protection during work.
     Numerous ancillary tools and supplies.
This is how it works.
This is only one of many way to rescue patients from vehicles. The exact process depends upon the many different conditions of the incident. Patient protection is paramount.
